Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese Healing Art meaning ‘life energy cultivation’ using the breath, posture and movement to cleanse, generate, accumulate, balance and circulate Qi in the body.

I have been leading this sequence of movement in my work at the Gawler Foundation for the past 3 years and have also led groups at retreats, workshops and conferences. Whilst clearing and balancing the energy of the body, this sequence becomes a moving meditation, an ideal introduction to a sitting meditation.

Qi Gong Group:   

Tuesdays 11am – 11.30am

Each Tuesday – weather permitting – I lead a 30 minute Qi gong sequence  in the park in Henry Street (beside the local Neighbourhood House).
